Whatever you call it, I'm sure it'll put you in a sugar coma.

Decorated Pretzels
C will have the best time every making them.

Cookie Cutter Sandwiches
I made these for C's class at school and boy did they love them. I also had candy canes, angels, bells, Christmas trees, and snowmen.

Nutter Butter Reindeer
Anything with peanut butter and chocolate together has me screaming YES!

This is such a cute twist to the regualr Party mix.
Almost makes you not want to share.

Thumbprints
These are just the perfect festive treat.

What's your favorite Christmas treat to make??

Long Time No Blog

We have been super duper busy. I promise that one of my New Year's Resolutions is to blog tons more. Recap of the last 4 months!

Sept~ C started 4 year old preschool. She has the best teacher ever!!!!!!!!! We love Mrs. Mandy to death. She has already learned so much, I am so grateful that The Lord led me to First Presbyterian Kindergarten and Preschool. They continuous outdo themselves year after year.

Oct~DISNEY WORLD!!!! What more do I need to say? C really has a wonderful momma that for the last 3 years has taken her to the most happiest place on earth!

As you can tell C does NOT like Buzz!

We had lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table! We kept this a secret from C. She was very very excited to meet the princesses.

Needless to say we all had a great time! C could ride EVERYTHING except for space mountain. Hopefully next year! Only 3 more inches to grow! And for anyone who hasn't been to Disney, I would highly recommend going at Halloween. We did not wait in line for more than 10 mins for ANY ride. And alot of them, there wasn't even a wait, we walked straight onto them. If interested, let me know and I will gladly give you all my tips and Disney knowledge.

Speaking of Halloween, we attended Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. BEST PARTY EVER!!!!!!

A bit blurry, but they have all the Disney Villains out in front of the castle to do a performance and afterwards, you are able to have your picture taken with them. I highly recommend it!

We missed riding this on the first day. They were having some technical difficulties. So FINALLY, after missing it the past 2 years also, we have finally ridden Winnie the Pooh.

Don't you just love it! JH is acting as if he's being blown away too!

C was so impressed with them having hopscotch! Look at that tongue.

Once again JH is acting as Woody riding Bullseye!

I believe between our day at Disney and the Halloween Party, we rode Thunder Mountain 6 times. So glad I'm a roller coaster momma.

Also make sure when you attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, you watch the Hallowishes fireworks show. AMAZING! They put so much time and effort into everything they do.

C said I needed to wear a costume so she let me wear her crown, necklace, and purse or I wouldn't be allowed to have anymore candy. I guess next year I will have to dress up. Better start planning!

They gave C her own driver's license. She was stoked and even said she would drive me home.

Over in Tomorrowland they have a dance party with Chip, Dale, Goofy, and Stitch. Also one in Frontierland with Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye, but we missed that one.

C about passed out on the ferry ride to the parking lot. Next year we will stay at the Poly Resort and take the monorail!

Happy girl on the ride home! We couldn't have had a better trip! See ya real soon! Or until next year!

New Baby

How would you like to recieve this as a text from your honey on a Wednesday morning?

Not sure about you, but I am in LOVE!
Not to mention C has no earthly idea about her.
She is going to be so happy over the moon this afternoon!
And to make C even happier than ever than a pig in mud, I'm letting her name this baby girl.

Fall is just around the Corner

I have longed since Caroline was born for years to be able to decorate my house, not just the inside, but the outside curb appeal as well. And I finally am able to! So here's my first find for outside.

I purchased these barrels from Goodwill today at a mere $4.24 a piece.
Brought them home and cleaned then up.
So as we speak they are drying and I am headed to Lowe's to buy some black spray paint to make them new again and give them a home in my front yard.

Something similar to this. But we will be waiting about another 7 weeks until it can be put on display. Be sure to check back for the unveiling of the finished project and more projects to come.

Until Then,

One Last Time

Finally I have found the perfect name for my blog!

Now that things have finally calmed down a bit, I can get to work. So from now on, I will be posting all of my Goodwill finds weekly since I visit there several times a week and I will be showing you my transformations once they arrive at my house and find their perfect place to call home. But the best part, I will be mapping out new Goodwill stores to visit monthly to find even more deals. I am so excited and to think this is what I LOVE to do.

Now all I need to a page makeover for the complete package. Help anyone??

Fishtail Braid

As soon as I leave work today I am running home to stand in front of the mirror until I master this! So so cute and so simple! I absolutely love this!

The Ending of an Era

Can you believe this book started it all!! I read this when I was a freshman in high school. And it is now the greatest movies series ever! Since I picked it up I couldn't put in down, just like the rest of the series. I love HARRY POTTER!!
Goodness, they were so young then. It feels like just yesterday that I watched the Sorcerer's Stone. I have probably watched this one 50 times+. And I will never get enough of it either.

I finally made it to the movies last night to watch the final one. It was all that I could have hoped for and so much more. But I will say I did not like the ending at all! But maybe just maybe there will be a sequel. (Fingers Crossed) I will definitely be buying this entire movie collection when it become available. I can't wait.

Our Weekend

  • Friday~ Caroline and I went to Belk's and she had the best time picking out her own outfit. She bought a t-shirt with a carousel on it and some light pink shorts to go with it. And then sweet talked me into buying her another shirt with cupcakes on it. (She will make a great salesman) We then ventured to our most favorite store ever...GOODWILL! And as always we spent way too much time in there searching though it all. Off to home we went after there to start cooking dinner. Spaghetti was Caroline's request and boy it was great. John then surprised us and drove us to the movie store and then bout us ice cream. Since TCBY is in a convince store, John had to buy some lottery tickets. Being the huge gambler that he is with his $20, we actually made a $2 dollar profit. All in all we all had a pretty awesome day.
  • Saturday~ RAIN RAIN RAIN. Did I mention Rain? Those thunderstorms were horrible! I got shocked while trying to hurry out the bath. That joker hurt too. Not to mention the electricity went out so we were walking through a dark house getting dressed with a flash light. We loaded up in the car and headed to the country to John's parents where he was working on his new truck project. Caroline conned me once again to take her to McDonald's (Twice in less than 24 hours!) and she was happy as a pig in mud. So I ended up buying Ward's for supper. Ward's is in no way close to the BBQ back home, but it just has to do. After being lazy and letting the rain roll on by we headed back to town and hit up TJ Maxx. Man do we love that store. We did control ourselves this trip though. :)
To Be Continued...

Wish List

Sorry about my Wed. post being on Thursday. I forgot to save it, how forgetful.

Here's a few things I've been holding off of buying for myself until we buy this house.
I hope I can last a little longer, maybe I'll have time to add more tomorrow.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

  • I'm loving this veil, tiara, and dress from David's bridal. No, sorry no ring yet,but a girl can dream right?? I have all of a sudden become fascinated with the idea of a wedding and all the shannagains that go along with it. I mean how fun is it to get to plan all of that yourself right down to the t. I can't wait to finally be engaged and start all the planning. Who am I kidding, I have already started! By the time he asked it will be all done I'm sure.
  • I'm loving this dress that I luckily won by having such quick typing fingers for my sweet Caroline. And it just so happened to come in the mail yesterday. But I'm loving the look on her face when she sees it along with 2 books, and a Madeline doll I bought for her yesterday at Walden Books since the store is closing and selling everything 40 to 50 percent off!! She is going to be so ecstatic.

  • I'm loving that I only have 23 left till closing of my new house! And the home inspection is tomorrow. It's now becoming more and more real that I am actually going to be a home owner. I will be so happy when I no longer have to just drive by and look, but will be able to pull up in the yard and hold the key that unlocks the door. And I've also decided that I am going to pull the carpet up in the living room and use the beautiful hardwood floors that are hiding and just waiting to shine.
