This N That

Tons On my mind today.

• I am now starting to 2nd guess myself on my paint color for my living room. I saw this living room painted a neutral tan and they had red wing back chairs and a brown leather sofa and I am in LOVE with the colors. I don't know how I am ever going to make up my mind. Maybe I should just hire someone to do all of this for me. :) Take some of the stress off this already beat to death momma. But then again how boring would that be. Decisions. Decisions.

• We didn't watch our movie last night. (Of course when I get to the store it's already rented out!) So likely for that to happen to me. But we are still on for tomorrow night to see Cars 2! I am so excited. I love movie night out with my family. We all have the best time ever.

• I have finally decided that I will paint Caroline's room a pale yellow. I am glad to say this color will NOT change. And I have just the picture that got me sold on it. How beautiful is this room! She is going to be so in love with it when we get all of this done!

• I originally wanted to paint my dining room red, but now I'm not quite sure. But I do know I am loving me some of this fabric on these chairs!! So I am still sold on my color red going in the dining room just not on the walls!
• One more week till my birthday!! I'm so excited and I just can't hide it!!!!! I'm about to lose my mind and I think I like it! Oh yeah, that excited! Now if a could just have this cake.

• I'm also looking for a swing set for Caroline. I can't wait to see her face when we are moved in our new house and we get her very own swing set up in the backyard. She is going to be thrilled. Along with a few other surprises!

Down Hill to the Weekend

It's Wednesday! Half the week is already gone. I am so ready for some relaxing this weekend. (Who am I kidding, I don' know how to relax!)  Caroline has already requested we go to the movies this weekend. And you know what the princess wants, the princess gets. I will be buying my tickets on Friday afternoon so they aren't all sold, (Smart momma here!) for Cars 2! She is going to love it! And to make it even better, we are watching the first one tonight so we will be all up to date! Gosh, I love being a mom more than anything in the world.

Ramblin'

I'm already wishing for a drink with a little umbrella in my hand today. Happy 1st day of summer! And to think it's only going to get hotter.

• 38 is the magic number today! I am so ready to be a homeowner. I spent all day Saturday looking at new living room furniture and I even found my paint color for the living room.

• While we're talking numbers, I only have 9 more days till the BIG 2-6! Yeah for me. I love birthdays especially mine. No clue as to what we are doing but I know we'll have a great time regardless. I can't wait to see what my sweet baby girl picks out for her momma. She is just the best at buying presents. My honey love has already given me my present early.

• Work seems to be taking up so much of my time lately. I am so ready for a vacation. And a new job! But I know that won't happen for a least another year. Don't get me wrong, I love the people I work with, I just don't feel appreciated at times. And I always feel overworked. And some more vacation time wouldn't hurt either.

FRIDAY AT LAST!!

I'm working a little late today to catch up at work. (Who am I kidding, I will never be caught up!) But you know how that goes. You stay to work and the internet just has that effect on you that makes everything else look just way to enticing than work. Or it does to me anyway. But none the less, I am trying to get caught up.

So 2 more hours and I will go pick up my sweet angel and spend the afternoon with her. She has her VBS singing tonight. I can hardly wait. She has been practicing all week and just loves to sing and be the center of attention. I just can't believe she is growing up on me so fast. Caroline please slow down for mommie. I can barely stand the thought of you going "upstairs" to the 4 year old class as all the "big" kids get to in Sept. Where has my babylove gone to? You are suppose to stay little forever. I don't know how I am going to handle these next 14 years. You bring so much joy to my life that I never thought I could ever feel. I love you with all my heart and everything that I can provide will be given. I will be the best mommie you could have ever wished for. I promise!

Ok, now that I'm done with the tears, it's back off to work. Have a wonderful weekend and as always stay blessed.

Mud Room in the Works

This is going to be our mud room. I can hardly wait to get it done and see the beautiful outcome. It does connect to the kitchen but I still think that's what it should be.

1st idea. Looks a little too much like cubbies in this one, but it's still nice. I love the shelf onto to put decor on display. And baskets are a must have.

 Idea #2. Not sure how I like the storage underneath since I would want shoes at the bottom to store. But I do love the 2 piece seperate look. The bench is a very nice touch for layering up or down.

Idea #3. Really love this one. Has all the baskets above for storage. The hangers to still put clothing and bags on. But the bottom has drawers. Not sure how I like that. I do want some place for shoes.














Now the fun part. Chosing which one or if any of them to be honest. I may just mix all 3 together and get an even better outcome. Oh the choices of owning a home.

But the best part of this is that this is going to be our permanent home (or at least till baby #2 comes along). We are going to have such wonderful memories in this house, which also means I am buying a new camera ASAP!! Oh the times yet to come. I am so ready.

More to come on the other rooms later. I'm headed to pick sweet Caroline up from Bible school. I love that baby to death.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm LOVING my sweet precious Caroline who is just growing up too fast on me and how she is still attached to me at the hip at age 4.

I'm LOVING how it's hump day and it's all downhill to the weekend. I live for the weekends now that's summer is finally here.

I'm LOVING how I have such a wonderful BFF Megan that helps me out no matter what and treats my child as her own and that my child loves her back to pieces.

I'm LOVING that I will finally own my own house in less than 2 months! But I'm LOVING it more that I can provide for my daughter and give her a beautiful house and yard to play and grow up in!

And last but definitely not least, I am LOVING that I have a wonderful man by my side to go through all the ups and downs in life. I love you more than you could ever imagine! MWAH!!!!

We're MOVING!!!

WE DID IT! We have found a house! Can I get a "Heck Yeah"?! So glad all the searching is over, now onto the packing and moving. We do have another month and a half though for that but I have already begun the cleaning and trashing what's NOT coming to the new place. And I am getting just about everything I wanted but the porch. However we have agreed that will be built in the next 2 years.

Living Room with gas logs, I think we may do away with those though. We'll see.

Is she not beautiful? I am so in love with this house. And as soon as the papers are signed, this beauty is getting some marvelous colors thrown on the walls. I can hardly wait. I have already informed John that my weekends will be spent in the Lowe's and by the time I am though all the employees will be on a first name basis with me. Hehe ;) So bring it on.

Well I have tons to do, so back off to work I go.
